It is an art form followed by only a very small sector of the populace; an informed and devoted elite. Why is this? Why don't more people go to the opera? Well, because operas are long, frequently tedious, the characters sing everything in a foreign language and repeat themselves endlessly, the tickets are expensive, drinks at the bar are way overpriced, and there's far too much music! It's a shame that opera isn't a little more user friendly, because once you get past all that music and pomp, it's chock full of sex and violence!

Using Monty Pythonesque animation, "All the Great Operas (in 10 minutes)" serves up the stripped-down essence of all the most famous operas in a quick and painless manner, and reveals once and for all that opera has more in common with soap opera and pulp fiction than anyone likes to admit ...
